Turnout

Looking at turnout across the city, particularly by ward. Working with many, many people in an effort to boost turnout in key precincts. Its hot - blogging from my phone. Just in from several streets off Hawley - great response for our ticket. Proof tonight.

Killed three groundhogs today and one polecat.

One of the groundhogs had an "I Voted Today" sticker on his hind end.

Fifteen percent turnout at 5 p.m. would not normally presage a felicitious outcome for the laconic incumbent mayor. This, however, has been an eminently ineluctable election.

Congrats on good numbers for you Frank, as well as seeing Karen Shanahan and some of the others do well.

So what's your take, Frank, on the low voter turn-out? Is apathy running amok in America or have we all drunk too much Republican-lite Kool-Ade?
